Such a large energy project in Tajikistan was launched in the 70s of the last century, but for various reasons was not completed.
The Rogun HPP is considered one of the largest structures of the century. From an economic point of view, industrial enterprises are starting to operate in Tajikistan, and our economy is developing. From a political point of view, our country is among the developed countries. Of course, with the construction of this HPP, Tajikistan will gain energy independence. This was the goal of the head of state and all Tajiks of the world, so that the operation of this power plant was considered the only way to energy independence. The foundation of this facility is beneficial for any industry.
