On the initiative of the Department of Banking of the Faculty of Finance and Economics, on 29.09.2022 at the faculty with the participation of representatives of the National Bank of Tajikistan, the dean of the faculty, teachers and students of the faculty, in order to improve financial literacy of civil society, including employees of the education – with the assistance of the Volunteer Corps – Volunteer Financial Services (FFSK) held a training.
The event was attended by representatives of the National Bank of Tajikistan, including Davron Mukhtorovich Tukhtarov, Senior Inspector of the Banking Inspection Division of the Banking Supervision Department, and Zokirjon Nurulloevich Davlatov, Chief Specialist of the Information Processing Division of the Financial Monitoring Department of the National Bank of Tajikistan in his report noted that the National Bank of Tajikistan, which is one of the main partners of the Program, is actively involved in disseminating materials on financial literacy. The National Bank of Tajikistan presented the results of activities related to financial literacy, and the importance of improving the financial literacy of the population for the financial sector, as well as the inclusion of the program to improve financial literacy in the Development Strategy of Tajikistan until 2030.
It is worth noting that the National Bank of Tajikistan fully supports the program to improve the level of financial literacy of the population of the country and contribute to increasing the level of accessibility and its dissemination among consumers of financial services.
