On March 15, 2023, the two-day exhibition of the International Network Institute “AML/CFT Education and Career” started in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan). The Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University (RTSU) hosts the guests and participants of the exhibition.
On the first day, a round table was traditionally held. At the round table the first speaker on behalf of the Tajik National University was Ibrohimzoda I.R. – Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Economics: “Issues of formation and improvement of the anti-money laundering, combating terrorism financing and financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the Republic of Tajikistan”.
The multilateral meeting was attended by representatives of the Training and Methodological Center of the Financial Monitoring Department under the National Bank of Tajikistan, the Russian House in Dushanbe, MUMCFM, Tajik and Russian higher education institutions participating in MSIs. The Tajik National University was represented by Ibrohimzoda I.R. – Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the AFS FR, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Economics.
They also discussed AML/CFT higher education programs and admission campaigns to Russian universities under the Rosfinmonitoring quotas. They also talked about the activities of the III International Financial Security Olympiad, including a thematic lesson on financial security for schoolchildren in Tajikistan and the implementation of the graphus training system in the educational process as part of the development of the AML/CFT International Network Institute.
